Did any of you bother to check out what "Seafoid Cruthanta" actually means? It's not a quaint village in western Ireland. It's (approximately) Gaelic for "total bullshit."

Can't say I looked it up. Didn't believe the post anyway, so why go the additional step?

Strange....I thought the Irish had the same word for "quaint Village" and "total bullshit".

Happy St. Stupid's Day! (1 hour and 20 minutes after the fact)

It's part of Seafoid Cruthanta. Total hotties playing pennywhistle and bodhrán. ZOMG. I want.

Those were the good 'ol days. I remember being able to CLEARLY hear Matt's bodhran in my room on the third floor. Not that that was a bad thing. I've always been fond of Celtic music. It was just impressive. ;-)

There's a couple more on the Seafoid Cruthanta Yahoo Group. Casey's folks took them one weekend (I was at home, so not in any of them). Matt used to practice the bodhran in the stairwell of the dorm, because "if I'm in the stairwell then I'm out of the way and not disturbing anybody with it", not realizing that he'd be echoing off the walls and thereby able to be heard through the entire dorm.

Evade's room was third floor corner, directly over the lounge.

What an incredibly sweet picture. Did I take that one? Those were the days, eh? I knew the last post was April Fool's. Would Barnabas be listening to Garth Brooks? Really, now... Teragram

Actually it is quite a nice song--sounds almost like something I would've written back in a high school English class shortly after returning from Ireland.

Ireland I am coming home
I can see your rolling fields of green
And fences made of stone
I am reaching out won't you take my hand
I'm coming home Ireland...

And yes, as far as we can tell that's a picture from your digital camera back in 1999-2000.
