It begins.
May. 23rd, 2006 10:51 pmGot an answering machine message today from a somewhat nearby school district asking if I'm still interested in an interview for a teaching position there. Hooray!
Also, went on a 3-4 hour bike ride yesterday from one end of the arboretum to the other, then along some farm roads along the creek, under the freeway, way far south of campus, and back home. Very fun. Totally exhausted by the end, but very fun. Nice to get away from the hubbub of campus and out into the quiet of the countryside.
