Lately I've been paying a bit more attention to my dreams, probably because I've actually been getting more sleep. I've noticed a few interesting patterns...
1) I sometimes dream about teaching math in Cowtown. In my dreams the lessons tend to run much better than they do in real life, except for that one time that I dreamed I was driving home from Cowtown and kept running over all these dead bodies in the road, and it turned out there was a gang of evil human-sized gingerbread men killing people and throwing their bodies onto the highway.
2) In my non-teaching dreams, I am almost always in London. Not quite sure why, except that it presumably made a big impression on me when I visited it for a few days last summer.
3) On the rare occasion when its presence or absence would be noticeable, I am wearing my wedding ring in my dreams. I didn't really notice this until this morning, when I was almost surprised to find that (in real life) I was NOT wearing it.
4) Matt shows up once in a while. Not as a major character; more sort of a cameo appearance.
Conclusions: London's an amazing place, my subconscious is beginning to accept (in advance) the concept of being married, and both teaching and Matt have been heavily on my mind recently.
