New sermon's up, by the way; this one tells the tale of St. Christopher. No sermon last week because I was out of town.

No, I didn't get married last week. :-p I did, however, go to E&C's wedding, which was wondrous fun. Plenty of good friends there, some fine music and dancing, and excellent OHGODTHELAMBWASSOGOOD food.

The next morning (Sunday) Hazel and I went on a road trip down to Lordsburg, my home town, for a few days. We spent some time with my parents, went out to lunch with my grandparents, and met with the minister, the wedding coordinator, the baker, and the caterer to make plans for our own wedding. It looks good; things are starting to take shape.

On Wednesday I took a plane back home; Hazel stayed down south with her grandmother, and the two of them are currently vacationing in Hawaii. I started classes again on Thursday; this quarter I'm taking a class in mathematical biology and three classes in education (psychology of learning, educating disabled students, and philosophical/sociological foundations of education) in addition to the standard MAT-program classes and teaching in Cowtown.

My TA assignment has also been changed; this quarter I'm not teaching for MAT-16A (first quarter of basic calculus) but instead for MAT-16B (second quarter of basic calculus). It's a much bigger class, but there are 5 TAs for it, so it looks like it'll probably be about the same amount of work, plus helping to proctor exams. The class is taught by one of my favorite professors, though, so that's cool.
