I dimly remember getting up yesterday and driving to Cowtown to teach a math lesson. I think it went pretty well. After that I drove back to campus, bought a quesadilla for lunch, headed up to my office, and started working on my three remaining take-home finals.
It's now 24 waking hours later. I've left my office two or three times to get coffee and snacks across the street. I have assembled my portfolio of lesson plans, written two short papers about improvements in my teaching style, solved an algebra problem and written a few paragraphs about the solution, filled out a self-analysis form for every Cowtown math lesson I've taught this quarter, read through the archives of three webcomics to stave off insanity, and graded 90 pages of calculus finals. I still need to grade 360 more pages of calculus finals, and then I can go home and go to sleep. I have vague memories, somewhere in the back of my brain, that sleep is a good thing. I think I'm looking forward to it.
