Post-memorial musings

I'm feeling a little better now. Losing Matt was like a hole getting smashed in the surface of my mind, but now the hole has a patch. It'll grow stronger with time, but there will always be a scar.
Saying the eulogy last night just felt so right. It feels good to be the one who says the words that make everything all right, the words that give meaning to the pain and grief and darkness.
Shit. I'm an atheist and I want to be a minister.
Reverend Livingston was right. I am a born Unitarian.
